Ashton chose her costume months ago. One afternoon she colored a paper plate, then cut it in quarters. She used one quarter as a "tail" and one quarter as a "headdress". She then took another quarter and cut it in half and taped a rubber band to each piece to hold them on her arms as "wings". And so her peacock costume was formed. With the help of Nana Barb her Halloween costume evolved into what you see here...
Zachary dressed as Count Dracula and John Tyson went as a surfer dude, riding his new "long board".
